Happy Easter!

On Saturday before Easter my family came over and we were going to go to the Surprise Eggstraveganza, but do to the poring rain it got canceled and we were all very sad. So instead we had our own egg dying and egg hunting party. It turned out tobe pretty fun. We dyed 3 dozen eggs and had over 4 dozen plastic eggs that we hid at a little park near our house. Dallin and Stephanie found the eggs and had lots of fun. Then after that we played a few rounds of Bocce Ball out in the grassy area by the plaground. It started to rain again so we went back to our house and the family played games while my mom and I went shopping for maternity clothes. After trying on several things I finally found some capris that will hopefully last me the rest of my pregnancy. I also got a new swimming suit that is not maternity but it should fit me for a while. Anyway, today for easter we got together with the family for dinner and then went to a park to feed ducks and take pictures. It is really hard to get an 18 month old and a four year old to smile at the same as the rest of the family, but we did the best we could with the self timer on the camera. You can check out the picture down futher on the page. Overall, we had a fun and busy weekend.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

On Monday Brett and I got to go and get an ultrasound to see how the baby was doing and to find out the sex of the baby. Obviously it is a girl which means I didn't make the blanket for nothing after all. We are both so excited that we are having a girl. The name we have chosen is Makenzie Michelle Lamb. I am now 19 weeks along and now have a small baby bump that I like to show off. I have felt the baby move several times now, but Brett has not been able to feel it yet. This part of pregnancy is not to bad. I feel good and am not too uncomfortable yet although I don't fit into some of my pants anymore. I tried to squeeze into some this morning but decided it wasn't worth being uncomfortable all day long. Instead I wear gaucho pants of capris. They are the most comfortable kind of clothes you can wear (pregnant or not).
